Tim Burton’s new movie Alice in Wonderland, starring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, will premiere on Friday, March 5th. Not a remake, but a “sort-of” sequel, as Alice is now 19-years-old and accidentally returns to Wonderland. The movie also features Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen. Tim Burton says that he neither sees this movie as a re-imagining or a sequel, merely a story based off of the universe created by Lewis Carroll from his books Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the looking glass and what Alice found there.
As for the movie itself, I am really excited, I have always been a fan of Tim Burton movies, and have high hopes for this one as well.
